Room was clean and well stocked. Could not get the volume to work using the remote. Not a big deal. Got a little noisy and upstairs occupants seemed to be walking back and forth a lot in big boots, and maybe marching. Not used to having upstairs neighbors. Office staff was very kind and courteous.

Was Fast Check In Service... BEST Motel 6 I Have Been To In DFW Area. Nice Hospitality... Room Was Very Spacious & Very Clean.. Water Get Hot Which Is Really Great... AC Gets Extra Cold At Nice...Rooms Are No Smoking That's An Extra Plus... housekeeping Is Nice As Well Overall Great Motel 6 Will Be Staying Here Again
Maria (housekeeping) was a breath of fresh air, super friendly, and very compassionate. Every morning she offered a smile and either cleaned our room completely if we wanted or just gave us fresh towels if that's all we wanted. She really helped on those days all I could do was cry. When time came that we could get home, but a day earlier than our last extension they said no problem.
I was trying to load my car to early in the morning g to get a very early start and my card key wouldn't work after my first trip out to load my car, I went to the window to get service and i had to wait until the girl heard the buzzer and woke up to reactivate my card. Apparently, they deactivate the cards automatically on the day when you are supposed to check out.
Actually, the overall stay was good. The place was clean and the staff was ok, not the friendliest but not unfriendly just acted as if they really didn't care. My biggest complaint which was very frustrating was....
Reserved a smoking room,well, because we are smokers. Will never do that again. We'll take our chances with the weather. We don't smoke in our house and now know why- IT STINKS!! The bed sheet had burn holes and the upholstered arm chair was rather disgusting. Lifted the cushion and appeared to never have been vacuumed. Used one of the bath towels as a seat/back cover. Other than that, the mattress was comfortable, the room was clean and the reserve and check out went smooth. We will still stay at a Motel 6, just not in a smoking room.
A couple days in our visit Hurricane Harvey blocked all our driving paths to reach our home and family outside Houston. First thought was where to stay now that our reserved time was up. However, the management gave us piece of mind and let us extend our stay multiple times. They were understanding and so willing to work with us.
God forbid we are ever threatened with a hurricane, however if so we WILL BE BACK. Or whenever we are able to come back to visit family again, we WILL BE BACK.
My husband and I chose this Motel 6 due to location near family we went to visit. (August 23-August 31, 2017) Clean room, nice front desk, and awesome housekeeper (Maria).
